Delete branch "build/simplify-makefile"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The Makefile now exposes the four commands a person runs: build
(the default goal), serve, clean and prod_build. The internal steps
become prerequisites instead of targets of their own:
skip them, so a fresh checkout served no tag pages;
gets its own copy rule, so editing it refreshes the copy (before,
it was copied only when the main.js sources changed);
assets-images is dropped: the @2x logo is committed, and the
production build overwrote it with an upscale of the 1x logo. The
builder image loses ImageMagick, the Dockerfile runs make build
instead of repeating its steps, and the architecture doc keeps the
magick command for the day the logo changes.
Docs, the AGENTS.md tag note and the Claude allowlist follow the
new target set.
